Vote Clock

How we verify voting deadlines: official sources only

Last updated October 5, 2026

Every deadline on Vote Clock is sourced only from official government election offices, shown with a link to that office and the day we last checked it. This page is the whole method, so a voter, a teacher or a newsroom can check our work.

Who is behind Vote Clock

Vote Clock is operated by Election Media LLC, an Illinois company, and is funded by its founder. It takes no money from candidates, campaigns, political parties or political action committees, and it shows no ads. It is a free voter deadline tool with no sign-up and no personal data collected, and it doesn't sell or share your information. Privacy policy.

Corrections

Use "Report an error" under any state's dates, or email [email protected]. A report never changes a date by itself: AI compares the date with the official page and recommends, and a person decides. If we were wrong, we fix it promptly and update the "Checked" date. If we can't confirm a date quickly, we hide it and point voters to the official election office until we can.

Vote Clock is not a government website. Your state or local election office always has the final word. More about Vote Clock.
