A free election countdown for your website
The VoteClock Media Clock. Last updated September 30, 2026.
Put a live Election Day 2026 countdown on any web page, or a clock for the next voting deadline in one state. It's free and nonpartisan, and it updates itself, so you never have to change the date.
Copy the code
Paste this into any page or article that accepts HTML. The clock fills the width it's given, up to 520 pixels, and is 230 pixels tall.
<iframe src="https://voteclock.org/embed.html?clock=election" title="Election Day countdown from VoteClock" width="100%" height="230" style="border:0;max-width:520px" loading="lazy"></iframe>
A clock for your state's next deadline
The deadline clock counts down to the next voter registration, mail-ballot or early-voting deadline in one state, then moves on to the following deadline by itself. This example is for Illinois:
<iframe src="https://voteclock.org/embed.html?clock=deadline&state=IL" title="Next voting deadline from VoteClock" width="100%" height="230" style="border:0;max-width:520px" loading="lazy"></iframe>
To pick another state, or a light or dark look, use the Media Clock builder.

Safe to put on your site
- No ads. VoteClock takes no money from candidates, campaigns, parties or political action committees.
- No cookies. The clock doesn't set cookies, store anything in the reader's browser or run analytics.
